Hard work, creativity, great connections and persistence
Dear Matt, Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your hard work, creativity, great connections and persistence in the sale of my townhouse in Germantown, MD. In this market, any sale is tough, but you handled this short-sale in the most professional and fastest manner possible. From the full price offer only four days after the house was listed, to the closing in less than 60 days, you really pulled this together! I am happy to strongly recommend you to anyone seeking to buy or sell a home in the DC area. You have a terrific style, great customer care, and more energy than I’ve ever seen in a REALTOR. I believe that your marketing approach using social media as well as traditional advertising helped bring in the right buyer for my house. Best of luck to you, and again, thank you! Christine S. (Seller/ Germantown, MD)

Matt gained my full and total trust
Let me start by saying that I’m not the easiest person to deal with when it comes to some things, and am skeptical of people who make money off of my decisions in life (such as a realtor and my buying a property). Having said this, Matt gained my full and total trust after a short period of time through doing a few very important things. 1) Matt listened to what I had to say and showed me properties both inside, and outside of my “box” that he thought would entice me. I appreciated his willingness to try and get me to explore my options. 2) Matt spoke to me in my language. He knew that I hated beating around the bush with things and that I required being spoken to in a straight-forward manner all the time. Not only did he do this himself, which helped gain my trust and us communicate effectively; but he also explained to those others with whom I had to deal in the process how to speak with me in a manner that would work so we could move progressively forward. 3) More than once, actually probably about 5-10 times did Matt step into the fray for me and take the reigns when I was getting very frustrated with people not getting me the information I needed. He said to me once “Sam, I just know through my experience in this business that you get farther with these people using honey instead of vinegar.” I said to him “Matt, you be the honey, I’ll be the vinegar.” And he was, and if it weren’t for his knowledge, diplomatic ability, and capacity for great patience when I was getting fired up, I probably would not have secured my loan. 4) Matt went out of his way OFTEN to help me with the small things. Picking me up, dropping me off, speaking to loan officers, mortgage people, and everyone else when I needed him to. Even today, this last day when I was signing, he offered to and did go out to my car and paid for more time on my meter. In the beginning Matt was just some realtor who I was skeptical of. In the end however, I feel as though I genuinely gained a friend. My overall experience was as good as it could have been. Would you recommend Matt to a friend in the future? Definitely

Matt also displayed impeccable integrity
Matt performed the entire range of services, from marketing and showing the place to finding a negotiator and dealing with all the paperwork. When it looked like it might not go through (through no fault of Matt’s), he even offered to help start the process of finding a renter. Luckily, that was not necessary. Member Comments: Like many properties, mine had lost a significant amount of value since the real estate bubble burst. Matt did not try to pressure me one way or another but worked with unparalleled tenacity to get the most for my property. Even when it turned out that the market would not bear the price I wanted, Matt hung in there and found a short sale negotiator who was worth his weight in gold as well. Throughout the entire process, Matt was patient and always gave me frank and unvarnished advice. During a brief moment when it looked like it might not go through, Matt also displayed impeccable integrity. I felt awful for all the effort he had gone to so I wanted to compensate him, but he refused. Fortunately, the deal worked out and the sale was successful. I would use his services again anytime
